PROJECTS
Fallrest Harbor is a developing webcomic that centers around three city-bred friends on a summer road trip that turns into a supernatural chiller as they find themselves suddenly trapped in the seaside town of Fallrest Harbor - a city not located on any map.
In October 2020, I followed the quick list created by illustrator Stephanie Martinez, known online as Nidrogenn, entitled Nostalgic Horror: VHS Edition, which lists 31 horror movies one could illustrate and interpret as covers for old-school video cassette covers.
Undertaking this challenge to create a piece every day for 31 days, experimenting with different styles and workflows, and discovering new horror movies made this an enjoyable project.
Aboranth is a collaborative senior project between my classmate and designer Giancarlo Hernandez and myself. Our collective objective was to make a fun turn-based battle card game entirely from scratch, along with accompanying deliverables such as packaging, booklet, and trailer.
Started by illustrator Jake Parker as a challenge to improve his inking skills and develop positive drawing habits, Inktober has since grown into a worldwide endeavor, with thousands of artists taking on the challenge every year.
Every day for October, anyone participating in the Inktober challenge creates an ink drawing and posts it online.
