FALLREST HARBOR

Penny had been brought up with the firm conviction that all monsters were malevolent creatures and that it was her solemn responsibility, together with her fellow members of the Order, to apprehend them. However, when Penny is sent to Fallrest City to uncover the perpetrator of a murder, her capture and interactions with the shadow monster Aiden and the gargoyle Erik challenge the ideals she has been raised with, which comes to a head when her order brands her a defector and charges her for her capture.

Now on the opposite end of the chase, she embarks on a journey to uncover the truth about the murder and reclaim her place in the Order. But can Penny reconcile her beliefs with the reality she has encountered? Will she succeed in her quest, or will her past convictions lead to her downfall?
